Koch Associate Program

About the Program

The Koch Associate Program invests in the rising generation of leaders our society needs — social entrepreneurs who will create solutions, who seek to break the barriers that stand in the way of all people realizing their potential.

To support these leaders, we offer transformative learning and development experiences, job placement, and networking opportunities tailored to their needs.

KAP blends professional development with real work experience. Successful candidates for KAP are early to mid-career professionals eager for growth and to confront society’s biggest challenges.

While in the program, associates work at one of our many partner organizations and spend one day at Stand Together Fellowships for professional development. The training provided by STF focuses on these pillars:

  • Learning how to be a self-directed learner and contribute to your workplace
  • Discovering and developing your unique aptitudes and strengths
  • Applying Market-Based Management™ for success

Each associate is mentored by a seasoned professional and works on a capstone project on what matters most to them.

Throughout the program STF hosts summits designed to help each entrepreneur take a meaningful step forward on their project and connect with resources from across our philanthropic community.

We offer unique concentrations for social entrepreneurs who enter KAP with established interests in specific fields, with the possibility of extending their role for up to 12 months after the program. These tracks include tech policy, foreign policy, health care, and nonprofit fundraising. To indicate your interest in a concentration, apply for KAP and note your focus.
